It is important to have an understanding of several piano methods to be sure that you choose the right one for each student.

In an evaluation of several popular piano methods, this course will:

• Describe the structure of each method
• Discuss the underlying pedagogical principles 
• Highlight ancillary materials that are available
• identify the strengths and weaknesses of each 
• Identify exit points to move into literature method such as RCM or ABRSM program
